Since 1980, the “Festival de Marimba Paiz” in Guatemala City has celebrated the vibrant sounds of Marimba music, showcasing many artists from a wide range of genres with the main propose of celebrating the instrument and its cultural impact on the Guatemalan society and culture.

2024´s edition featured performances by the Ska legends Malacates Trebol Shop and the GRAMMY® award winner Gaby Moreno just to name a few.
